THE FIRST VISIT DURING 2015

EARLY SPRING; 2015-04-26

Molntjärn or The Little Cloud Lake gave us a varm velcome this day. It was partly sunny and at times quite warm. Since this lake is situated like at the bottom of a large bowl surrounded by mountains the wind spins around in every direction and it wasn't warm. So when the sun was hidden by clouds the wind made it chilly. The waterlevel was very high, like 4-8 inches (10-20 cm) higher than normal and VERY COLD, it wasn't ideal for trout fishing. I guess the trout was close to the bottom of the lake. Almost all the snow from the sorrounding mountains had melted so that explains the water temperature. I wish I had had a thermometer to check it out properly.

Contact or at least seeing some activities from trout would have been like the icing on a cake. Anyway we had a wonderful time this day and I think I took upwards of 200 photos so I'll get back and post some of them soon.

That's all for now but I'll post some photos om mine and my pal soon. Have a great time all! Greetings from an early spring in Sweden,

Mats Olsson
